USA Trader Deals In‑House Review Process

Trusted, Verified, and Trader‑Backed Prop Firm Evaluations
Our In‑House Reviews are built on real trading experience, multi‑trader verification, and deep research. Before you spend money on a challenge, learn how we uncover the truth behind every prop firm we investigate.

What an In‑House Review Is:

An In‑House Review is the most detailed evaluation we offer. It is created only when we have enough firsthand data from real traders who have traded with the firm using their own purchased challenges. This process gives prospective buyers a clear and realistic understanding of how a prop firm operates behind the scenes, not just how it markets itself. This Ranking is completly separate from our General Review ranking. You can read more about our General Reviews and how they are scored through USA Trade Deals General Review Process.

Real Trading Experience From Multiple Traders

Minimum of Three Independent Traders

Every In‑House Review begins with at least three traders from our team who have traded with the firm. These traders must complete a full challenge cycle whenever possible, including payouts, rule enforcement, and communication with support.

Independent Trading and Documentation

Each trader works independently and documents spreads, slippage, platform behavior, rule enforcement, support interactions, payout attempts, and any unexpected restrictions. This gives us a wide range of data across different trading styles, account sizes, and market conditions.

Interviews With Past and Current Traders

Gathering External Experiences

We interview traders who have passed challenges, failed challenges, received payouts, been denied payouts, or left the firm due to concerns. These interviews help us understand how the firm treats different types of traders.

Identifying Consistent Patterns

A single complaint does not influence a review unless it appears repeatedly across multiple traders. Only patterns that can be verified through multiple sources are included. We tell the truth others won't inform you of and will upgrade or downgrade our ranking if an appeal is requested or if we find other issues traders may be having that start creating a noticeable pattern. We do not ever trash talk a company, and our review process is transparent, professional and fact based, from trading experience and uncovered truth. We do not accept monetary gain as a way to promote firms, or rank firms like multiple other affiliate websites. We want our readers and traders to know fact from fiction and give them the best recommendations for their individual trading needs. We are real traders, wanting to help traders have success. This is why our website was created. Please note, a lot of research goes into In-House-Reviews, and this means we won't have this type of review available on all firms we list. We are trading with new firms and will release new In-House-Reviews as soon as we complete them. Please be patient, and always conduct your own research before making a purchase. Any ranking that rates over 3.0 is a recommended firm to trade with.

Company Background and Verification

Corporate and Operational Checks

We verify the firm’s registration, business address, leadership transparency, and operating history. This includes checking for rebrands, ownership changes, and any regulatory actions.

Public Presence and Online Footprint

We review the firm’s presence across social platforms, review sites, and trading communities. This helps us determine whether the firm’s public reputation matches real trader experiences.

Identifying Red Flag Patterns

Repeated Issues Across Multiple Sources

We document red flags only when they appear consistently. These may include payout problems, inconsistent rule enforcement, sudden changes in terms, unresponsive support, or questionable corporate behavior.

Verified and Cross‑Checked Findings

Only issues that appear across multiple traders and sources are included in the final review. This ensures accuracy and fairness.

Internet‑Wide Research

Community and Public Data

We conduct research across Trustpilot, Reddit, Discord groups, YouTube reviews, prop firm comparison sites, and archived versions of the firm’s website. This helps us confirm whether the firm’s public reputation aligns with real‑world experiences.

Rule Analysis and Real‑World Enforcement

Comparing Published Rules to Actual Behavior

We analyze the firm’s rules, including drawdown, consistency requirements, news trading restrictions, weekend holding rules, and payout conditions. We compare these rules to how they are enforced during real trading.

Documenting Discrepancies

Any differences between marketing claims and real‑world enforcement are clearly documented so traders know what to expect.

Payout Testing and Verification

Real Payout Attempts

Whenever possible, our traders request payouts to evaluate the firm’s reliability. We document approval times, processing times, communication quality, and any unexpected delays or denials. This helps us determine whether the firm pays consistently and how it handles the payout process from start to finish.

Multiple Challenge Attempts for Accurate Results

If our In‑House Review traders do not receive a payout, fail a challenge, or breach an account, they will restart the challenge up to three times. If a trader is unable to complete a payout after these attempts, we expand our research by interviewing traders who have received at least two verified payouts from the firm. These interviews include video discussions and structured questionnaires to ensure accuracy and transparency.

Challenges can be difficult even for experienced traders, and our internal team has a strong track record of securing payouts across multiple firms. To date, we have not needed to rely on external payout sources for verification, but transparency is a core part of our process, and we maintain strict standards for every review.

Opportunities for Experienced Traders to Join Our Review Team

We are actively seeking additional reviewers who have a proven history of payouts. Traders who have received a minimum of two payouts across at least three different prop firms and can provide proof of those payouts are encouraged to contact our HR department at Micheal.wolfer@usatraderdeals.com. Qualified traders may be offered free account access in exchange for their participation and feedback. This is not an offer of employment, and each trader will be considered self-employed and expected to follow all policies and procedures, along with all contracted expectations. Prove you are profitable with prop-firms, become a possible partner, get free, reduced, or reimbursed trading accounts, just for telling your experience. We have limited spots available and we have new spots opening throughout the year. We determine reviewers by first come, followed by experience. All applications are held for 60 days, afterward please re-apply. We know many traders who decided not to apply assuming other traders held higher levels of experience. If you qualify apply! We sporadically need reviewers as each reviewer can evaluate a maximum of 2 companies, afterwards they are replaced. This is done to reduce bias assumptions that may form from long term prop trading.

Reviewer Privacy and Company Rights

Reviewers may request anonymity, and we honor that request publicly. Internally, we maintain records of reviewer identities and contact information for legal purposes. If a prop firm contests any part of an In‑House Review, we may provide relevant reviewer information to the firm as part of an appeal process.

Each company being reviewed has the right to request clarification, contest findings, or ask for updates. We will re‑evaluate information at the company’s expense when necessary or update our material at any time if new information becomes available. We conduct bi‑annual reviews at minimum, and any ranking changes will include a clear explanation, so readers understand why a firm’s position has improved or declined. If any redaction of information is done due to an error on our side, we will highlight what was incorrect and make corrections accordingly. The information that was removed will be stated on the change cards, available to all readers, but removed from the main content review.

We are human and mistakes are possible. A company must submit proof of changes; proof information is wrong or request an updated review for a rank change. USA Trader Deals may completely change, remove, delete or add during review periods, or when new information comes available.  Any ranking changes will be available, along with why the rank was updated on a rank change card located at the end of each article. If their is no change record it will not have any information located there.

Why This Matters for Prop Firm Buyers

The prop firm industry evolves quickly, and not every company operates with the same level of transparency or reliability. Many traders rely on marketing claims, social media posts, or isolated reviews, which rarely provide the full picture. Our In‑House Review process is designed to give traders a deeper, more accurate understanding of how a firm truly operates.

By combining real trading experience, verified interviews, background checks, rule analysis, payout testing, and ongoing monitoring, we offer insight that helps traders avoid costly mistakes. Our goal is to highlight firms that operate fairly, pay reliably, and support long‑term trader success.

How We Classify and Recommend Firms

Any firm that receives a rating between 3.0 and 5.0 is considered recommended by USA Trader Deals. These firms have demonstrated fairness, reliability, and a proven record of payouts with limited risk. Firms that fall below a 3.0 rating are not promoted, and after further investigation may be added to our Prop Firm Risk Watch List. We do not recommend trading with firms listed there, and traders who choose to do so should proceed with caution.

Our Commitment to Fair and Accurate Reporting

We do not attack companies, publish slander, or misrepresent information. Every review we publish is based on verifiable facts and findings that appear consistently across multiple sources. If a company or reader believes something in a review is inaccurate, we encourage them to contact our support team so we can address the concern.

Support and Response Times

Support inquiries marked as urgent are typically answered within 48 hours. If you have not received a response within seven days, we recommend resubmitting your message with “URGENT RESPONSE REQUESTED” in the subject line and attaching a screenshot of the original send date. We are actively building our website and expanding our content library, and while delays may occur, we make every effort to respond to all inquiries. Read our Full Methodology & Affiliate Transparency Guide. Companies wishing to be re-ranked or want to inquire about specific information we have used on our website may request information through the Appeals & Re‑Evaluation section.
